Each year, the Odity Call For CSR Project invites our teams to choose and co-create a cause they truly care about – supported both financially and personally by the company. The Odity Paris team envisioned a program of outings and sensory experiences in partnership with Les Auxiliaires des Aveugles, designed to engage the senses and rebuild social connection. Voted Winner by the entire company, this project will come to life throughout 2026 with one clear intention: to shine a light on a cause that so often works quietly in the background, one gesture at a time.

When going outside becomes a daily challenge.
In France, around 2 million people are affected by visual impairment, including nearly 200,000 who are living with severe vision loss or blindness, facing major obstacles in their daily lives. For them, what many of us take for granted : going out for a coffee, reading a book, attending a medical appointment, meeting friends becomes a constant challenge.
Simply being there. Since 1963.
Founded in 1963, Les Auxiliaires des Aveugles is built on a simple yet demanding principle: being there for others, unconditionally. Their volunteers walk alongside the people they support – not to do things for them, but to help them re-engage with the world: to feel, to discover, to connect. Every gesture creates something rare and meaningful: chosen independence and lived inclusion.

Two hours can change everything.
Helping someone get around, sharing a reading session, joining a cultural outing – just two hours can transform someone’s day, rebuild a sense of connection, and restore confidence. You choose when and how to show up, and every gesture brings presence, autonomy, and belonging.
Because every time someone goes out, they regain a bit of confidence. Every act counts – and yours does too.
